先日、2月の生き物たちの息吹を報告をしましたが、今度は「春の足音」の報告です。あれから 3日も経たない内に「春の足音」です。やはり、自然は人には見えない歩みを毎日続けているのでしょう。

隣の家の舗装されていない駐車場の片隅に、とても目立つ “ 黄色 ” の、オオキバナカタバミ が咲いていました。昨年秋、僕の家の庭に咲いていた、紫色の カタバミ と近縁種ですが、色が違えば咲く時期も違えて、生き残ってきたのですね。
Next to my neighbor's house, there was a very conspicuous "yellow" giant katavami in bloom. It is a close relative of the purple katabami that bloomed in my yard last fall, but it has survived because of its different color and blooming time.
先日は満開とお伝えした紅梅ですが、既にその盛りは過ぎ、隣の白梅がリレイするかの様に花を咲かせ始めています。

隣の家の “黄色” ばかりに目を奪われていましたが、気付くと、僕の庭にも黄色い花が咲きそうになっています。咲いてみないと名前は判りませんが、タチカタバミだったら嬉しいですね。それにしても、日頃は雑草として扱われる事の多い カタバミ君たち、こんな素敵な黄色を見せてくれると、どういう訳か黄色のオートバイを選んで乗り継いできた僕としては、 負けてはいられません。オートバイ乗りの春はもう間近です。
I also noticed that yellow flowers are about to bloom in my garden. I have been riding yellow motorcycles for a long time, but I can't lose when I see such beautiful yellow flowers. Spring for motorcyclists is almost here.
